We started as teenagers who were just interested in making some noise.

Our parents would stumble into our rooms and shake their heads in dismay at the jerry-rigged isolation booths built into our closets and the mess of cables, shooting like veins, across our floors and tacked to the walls.

The flavor in the day was hip-hop and rap. We became pretty good. So much so, that we started Paradox Productionz and maintained a loyal, local following for over five years. We produced regular collaborative shows with other local groups up and down the Willamette Valley in grange halls, at fairgrounds, and in bars and nightclubs.

We also produced other local artists under our Paradox umbrella. We created beats for them, helped sharpen lyrics, and provided simple marketing and promotion.

So what happened?

Paradox Productionz still remains true to it's original model - centered on rap and hip-hop. As we've grown, though, we've come to appreciate other forms of music, and other markets, as well.

So, Soul Tree Sounds was born as the eclectic sister to Paradox.

You'll still find rap and hip-hop here - but you'll find other genres as well. Additionally, our focus at Soul Tree is on the production side of things. We possess a large library of existing compositions that can be leased for purposes such as soundtracks for film, commercials, and video games. Our material can also be leased by other artists for sampling and remixing purposes.

Additionally, we're also able to provide custom compositions for whatever your needs may be: theatre performances, athletic events, marketing campaigns, and special events are just a few of the many different occasions that may call for a custom score. Custom works are exclusive, which means you, the customer, assume the rights to the material upon purchase. We won't resell it.
